This early 20th century house had good bones and charming details, but was lacking a few of the necessary things for this busy family. A covered back stoop offers a place to set backpacks and groceries and clean up the dog before heading inside. The new mudroom has open storage lockers for day-to-day necessities and a closet for seasonal jackets. The new eating area is wrapped with windows and has many storage spaces to keep homework and art supplies ready for the next flash of inspiration.
